On this episode of Cigars and Sea Stories, Mike and Bennett are talking door breaching. There are plenty of ways to smash in someone’s door, none of them are quiet. Battering rams, haligan tools, donut charge, line charge, shape charge, shotgun lock busters and the list goes on. AHHHH the beautiful chaos that is door breaching. A stack of warriors in waiting, hold fast. The team rogers up from the rear signaling to the man ahead that they are ready for entry. Breacher roles out from the stack, assess’, preps entry device. In 3, 2, ... precision force and violence of action as each man clears the fatal funnel - flowing through the door and laying waste to the occupants. It’s a glorious thing when done correctly. That’s why we train...and train….and train….and train…. This episode is full of good stories including Mike’s dumb ass trying to unhook a ladder from his back while conducting raids in Ramadi….idiot. You also learn why Bennett has a slight bend in the nose. (ya see it there?) Check out his ugly mug in the show notes! Leave us your comments on the website and keep listening & sharing.
