Our thankful thought for today is this: Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive, grateful spirit. Although our spirit is unseen, it fills everything we do. It can be felt in our actions, our words, our attitude, and our presence. Our work, our play, our communication, our socializing, our education is supported by what we have developed on the inside. A smile in our heart is more important than a smile on our face. An attitude of optimism travels much longer than a few words. When we face difficulty, our spirit, the inner part of us will determine whether to give up or to press on. It is wonderful to have a good brain and a good work ethic, but it is more important to have a good spirit. When everything else fails, your spirit will be strong and shine.
Our quote of thanks is from Joel Osteen. He said, "I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you're grateful, you'll see God open up new doors."
Our Bible verse of thanks is 1 Timothy 1:12. It reads, "I give thanks to Him Who has granted me [the needed] strength and made me able [for this], Christ Jesus our Lord, because He has judged and counted me faithful and trustworthy, appointing me to [this stewardship of] the ministry."
